General Editing Responsibilities
In addition to my vast copywriting duties, I’ve also helped several creative teams maintain brand consistency/tone, proper grammar, checked for legal compliance on offers/promotions, verified pricing/brand names/etc. and made countless corrections and rewrites. A big part of my job was helping enhance the skillset of younger creatives, teaching them how to make art + copy = something special.

Making typography work harder (line breaks, type sizing, wording and sizing of offers, etc.) is a strength of mine and an often overlooked and undervalued part of ad composition. I’ve reviewed literally thousands of pages to make sure changes from our own teams and external vendors/internal departments were completed as requested.

Regional Price/Copy Versioning (about 9 years)
Compiled, marked-up and approved product copy and pricing changes for an ongoing special regional edition of weekly/monthly sales circulars.

Newspaper Ad Versioning (3 years)
Was part of a four-person team that produced nearly 100 separate local-market cellular phone ads each month—customizing each ad with regional carrier logos, special promotional offers, local market contact information and state-specific legalese.
