If you listened to radio in one of the small towns where RadioShack had a store, or spent time shopping in a Michaels or Alco store the last few years…you probably heard some of my work!
- Michaels & Alco Stores: wrote multiple :30 in-store announcements that are recorded by a professional voiceover company and heard between songs in the store while you shop. My words usually described some of the better deals at the store that day or alerted customers to exciting new products.
- RadioShack: weekly :30 live-read radio ads (probably 150-200 spots over a several-year period) that generally ran in smaller towns around the country and tied into whatever sale or event was happening that week. I’d also leave a few seconds at the end for the station’s DJ to mention the store’s location as well.
- RadioShack, Michaels, Alco: miscellaneous radio spots for special events like the annual after-Thanksgiving sale, new product rollouts, grand openings and radio station appearances at stores.
